Forbidden Island - Sea Cucumbers (Sea Slugs?)
We saw so many of these big fat weird creatures!! At first I just saw their small ends sticking out from under rocks, but then I realized they were actually big fat things hiding under there, after I saw one out in the open! Here are a few of the best photos I caught when the water was still and calm. I think I saw 4 total.
They are sea cucumbers! Looking at your blog makes me really miss Saipan. My dad worked at the hospital there when I was 12. Not to be super morbid, but the reason its called forbidden island is because of the rip tides around it - a lot of people have been sucked out to sea there by the undertow and died.
