


They separated the museum into segments -- this part was for the native people (Chamorros and Carolinians). This is a model of how their houses are. Those stones are called Taga stones I think, and they are apparently around here as ruins, and became part of the logo for the CNMI. I didn't know what the heck they were till I saw this model! And the pots are authentic relics from ancient native peoples. And that's a replica of a basket or something next to the mini model of a boat as the natives would use.
