This place is truly beautiful, too bad it means so much sadness for so many people and so much death happened here. Standing along the Banzai cliff you can look inland and see the Suicide cliff rising up... there are many monuments from various organizations and individuals recognizing all the death these locations have seen, sympathizing with those who had to die so far from their homes, and praying for world peace.
