At the farmers market on the side of the road I saw the shrimp vendor who one of our pharmacists had recommended. They farm these huge shrimps locally on the island. They were $10 a pound and I just tried 1/2 pound to see how they were, which was 8 big fat shrimp. Eating them was indistinguishable from eating lobster to me, they were sooooo succulent! We fried them in olive oil and put salt and pepper on them. We ate 4 for breakfast and 4 for dinner with pasta.
